OK, so last time I indicated that the next warm Saturday I would be out on the road for real.\u00a0 Didn’t happen.\u00a0 Its more than a month later and I decided that timing and weather was not going to cooperate so I went out for the first road tour of the season for me.\u00a0 I very much enjoyed the ride as I have been looking forward to it for a long time.\u00a0 That said, it was definitely just a beginning.\u00a0 First, it was overcast, cold and windy enough that we should have already met the Obama administration renewable energy goals.\u00a0 Tree pollen was in full force which made leaning over a hydrologic event.\u00a0 Nevertheless, it was great to be out there.\u00a0 I did a whopping 17 miles (yes, for those quantitatively gifted that is similar to Debbie’s 57 miles but with a slight modification of the first Arabic numeral) and when I got back I thought (a lot!) about the\u00a0small white clam,\u00a0small mozzarella, large chicken and garlic pizzas,\u00a0and two house salads but decided to stick with a yogurt and some oatmeal.\u00a0 I am sure my next entry will be much more impressive!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
